On April 5, 2023, 32-year-old William Edwards Jr., known as "Junebug," was fatally shot at New and Used Tire Bargains on East Columbus Street in Whiteville, North Carolina.
Edwards, a resident of Hallsboro, was the son of Jonathan "Johnnie" Kemp Bellamy and William Edwards Sr.
