Norman Foggan III, a 57-year-old man from Whiteville, North Carolina, tragically passed away on April 8, 2022. Born on February 12, 1965, in Mineola, New York, Norman was the son of Norman Foggan Jr. and the late Carol Urcan Foggan. He was a dedicated mechanic and the owner of Alternative Automotive in Whiteville. Norman is survived by his father, Norman Foggan Jr.; his son, Norman Foggan IV; two daughters, Samantha Foggan and Carolyn Paschall; his brother, Dean Foggan; and his sisters,

Norman's death was the result of a homicide. On the morning of April 8, 2022, Norman was shot to death at his home on Snake Island Road in Old Dock, which he shared with his fiancé, Jennifer Crafford Scurdato. Jennifer, aged 38, was subsequently charged with second-degree murder in connection with Norman's death. She was held under no bond in the Columbus Detention Center. The investigation into Norman's murder was conducted by the sheriff's office, and it was reported as the second killing in Columbus County that year.
