On May 31, 2023, 24-year-old African American male Alzy Diamond was fatally shot in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Rembrandt Drive. Diamond, along with 18-year-old African American male Aljarez Elliott and two other men, was at a residence when an argument over the phone escalated.
