On the evening of July 18, 2023, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Forsyth County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a person walking along Kerner Road in Kernersville, North Carolina, wearing a mask and carrying a handgun. Shortly thereafter, additional reports of gunshots in the same vicinity were received.
