On October 1, 2023, at approximately 1:09 a.m., Eden Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at The Rabbit Hole, a bar located on North Hundley Street in Eden, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 39-year-old Al Jamar Lindsey in the parking lot, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Lindsey was pronounced dead at the scene.
