Melford Edison Holloway Jr., a 44-year-old African American male from Eden, North Carolina, was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound on June 24, 2021. The Eden Police Department responded to a call about a gunshot victim at around 2:09 a.m. and discovered Holloway's body.
