Death by Force

On December 19, 2023, at approximately 6:15 p.m., Laurinburg Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting at Harry O's Food Mart, located in the 17000 block of Old Lumberton Road in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 38-year-old Aiken Robert Purvis suffering from a gunshot wound. Purvis was immediately transported to Scotland Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
