Frederick Eugene Williams, a 27-year-old African American male from Wallace, South Carolina, was tragically killed in an early morning shooting on December 18, 2022, in Laurinburg, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on First Street. Upon arrival, officers found Williams with gunshot wounds. He was transported to Scotland Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
