On January 15, 2024, at approximately 3 p.m., 37-year-old Gabrielle Raymond and 69-year-old Nancy Taylor were fatally shot in the South Walk Townhomes community in Apex, North Carolina. The alleged perpetrator, 37-year-old Harry Hardman, a former U.S. Army captain and neighbor, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder and one count of animal cruelty.
