Nadia Amaadar Maher, a 38-year-old woman from Apex, North Carolina, tragically lost her life on November 24, 2017. The circumstances surrounding her death were deeply troubling. Nadia was found in her home with a gunshot wound to her stomach. Her husband, Michael Anthony Maher, initially claimed that the shooting was accidental, stating that the gun went off while he was checking its safety lock.
