On the evening of January 18, 2024, 24-year-old Myles Leonell Batts was found deceased in Wake County, North Carolina. Around 9 p.m., the Wake County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle crash on Zebulon Road near Barham Siding Road, east of Rolesville. Witnesses reported that the vehicle, traveling toward Zebulon, ran off the road, hit an embankment, overturned, and came to rest upside down. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Batts inside the vehicle, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
