On August 17, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., 29-year-old Tyler Ray Wood was found with serious injuries from a gunshot wound along the 1000 block of East Wait Avenue in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
