On February 9, 2024, at approximately 4:24 p.m., Wilson Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting at 716 Hines Street West in Wilson, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they found 40-year-old Antonio Jima Turner suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services transported Turner to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
