On June 20, 2024, at approximately 9:39 a.m., Winston-Salem police responded to a report of a deceased individual in the 1600 block of W. Northwest Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered 35-year-old Brandon Michael Odom lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
