On the morning of July 19, 2024, at approximately 8 a.m., the Randolph County Sheriff's Office responded to a reported shooting at a residence on Pisgah Road in Asheboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, deputies discovered 34-year-old Daniel John Jarrell suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite prompt medical attention, Jarrell succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
