In the early hours of July 24, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred on Gholson Place in Henderson, North Carolina, resulting in the death of 21-year-old Tabyious Cheek. Authorities responded to a call at approximately 12:39 a.m. after three individuals with gunshot wounds arrived at Maria Parham Hospital.
