Ray Harrell, a 69-year-old Navy veteran, tragically lost his life on October 22, 2016, in Henderson, North Carolina. Harrell, who was a resident of 1320 Hight Street, was born on July 27, 1947, in Johnston County. He was a white male and had served in the Vietnam War. Harrell was a member of the South Henderson Pentecostal Holiness Church and was known for his involvement in the Men's Bible Class. He was also a former supervisor at Harriett & Henderson Yarns, Inc.
