Quincy Gregory, a 29-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 24, 2014, in Henderson, North Carolina. Norrell was charged with first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, two counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle, discharging a firearm on educational property, and discharging a firearm in the city limits. He was placed in the Vance County jail under no bond, with his first court appearance scheduled for September 8, 2014.
