In the early hours of October 6, 2024, Salisbury Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the parking lot of 127 East Innes Street in Salisbury, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds. One of the victims, 47-year-old Donald James Krajnyak, was pronounced dead at the scene.
