On October 7, 2024, at approximately 2:32 p.m., Greensboro police responded to a reported shooting on Spry Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals, 34-year-old Tiffany Eubanks and 35-year-old De'Shanta Calloway, both deceased from gunshot wounds.
Investigators determined that the incident was domestic-related. Autopsy results later confirmed that Eubanks' death was classified as a homicide, while Calloway's was ruled a suicide, indicating that Calloway fatally shot Eubanks before taking his own life.
Given the nature of the incident, authorities are not seeking any additional suspects, and no arrests have been made in connection with this case. The investigation is considered ongoing, but no further details have been released at this time.
A celebration of life for Ms. Eubanks was held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Elim Christian Fellowship in Greensboro, North Carolina.
