On November 9, 2024, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Rutherfordton police responded to a shooting incident at Amendment 21 Pub and Grill on Main Street in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. Upon arrival, officers discovered 33-year-old Michael Darius Page suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was initially transported to Rutherford Regional Medical Center and subsequently airlifted to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
