On November 12, 2024, at approximately 5:15 a.m., Williamston Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting at a residence on East Simmons Avenue in Williamston, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old Travis Lee deceased from a gunshot wound.

Investigations revealed that Lee had been involved in a physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend, Olivia Lea Stokes, prior to the shooting. Following the incident, Stokes, aged 34, turned herself in to authoriti ...
