On the night of November 13, 2024, Roxboro police responded to a reported gunshot wound at a residence on Foushee Street shortly after 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Willie Lawson Jr. of Timberlake deceased inside the home. Investigators noted there were no signs of forced entry, and no other individuals were injured during the incident.
