Patrick James Dunn, age 39, was found dead on November 17, 2010, in a vacant lot between Gasden Elementary School and a daycare center in Savannah, Georgia. His body was discovered by city workers, and initial investigations revealed that Dunn, believed to have been homeless, had died from gunshot wounds. The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police quickly classified his death as a homicide following an autopsy performed by the State Crime Lab.
