On November 19, 2023, at approximately 7:00 PM, 28-year-old Courtney Howell was fatally shot at the intersection of Morris Avenue and East 174th Street in the Bronx. Emergency responders arrived to find Howell with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
