Jordan Brooks, a 19-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, tragically lost his life on April 17, 2016. He was found dead in the third-floor hallway of his apartment building on Randall Avenue, part of the Soundview Houses. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on a Sunday night. Brooks had been shot in the head, and despite being rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
