A cold winter morning in Brooklyn turned tragic for Desmond Francis, a 36-year-old man, whose life was cut short by a single gunshot. On Monday, January 22, 2024, the familiar streets of his Brownsville neighborhood became a scene of violence and sorrow. Francis, a school bus driver, had just completed his morning route, bringing children safely to school, and was on his work break when the fatal encounter occurred.
