On January 25, 2024, 34-year-old Olga Kirshenbaum was found deceased in her Brooklyn, New York, apartment, the victim of an apparent murder-suicide. She was discovered alongside her boyfriend, 34-year-old Jason Jackson, both having suffered gunshot wounds to the head. A handgun was found next to Jackson's body, leading authorities to believe he shot Kirshenbaum before taking his own life.
