On February 8, 2024, at approximately 10:56 a.m., 26-year-old Hasan Richburg was fatally shot multiple times in the torso outside 131 West Kingsbridge Road in the Kingsbridge Heights section of the Bronx. Officers from the 50th Precinct responded to a 911 call and found Richburg lying on the street. He was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
