On February 9, 2024, 20-year-old Qualyn "Rocky" Terry was fatally shot while driving his car on Lewis Street near Mirabito Stadium in Binghamton, New York. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots around 5 p.m., after which Terry's vehicle crashed. Responding officers found him lying on the pavement with a gunshot wound to the face; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
