On April 27, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Buffalo Police responded to a reported shooting on the 100 block of Zenner Street. Upon arrival, they discovered two men who had been fatally shot. The victims were identified as 59-year-old Babul Meah and 39-year-old Abu Yousuf, both members of Buffalo's Bangladeshi community.
