Babul Meah, a 59-year-old male of Bangladeshi descent, was a handyman contracted to perform repairs on a house on Zenner Street in Buffalo, New York, that was in the process of being sold. On the afternoon of April 27, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Meah and his co-worker, Abu Yousuf, arrived at the supposedly vacant property to begin their work.
