On the morning of June 22, 2024, in Woodhull, New York, 57-year-old resident Wayne E. Mosher was fatally shot during an altercation on County Route 101. The Steuben County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call at approximately 8:44 a.m. from a man reporting that he had been involved in a confrontation and had shot another individual.
