Daniel Nunez Hernandez, a 24-year-old male resident of Bay Shore, New York, was found dead from a gunshot wound inside his home on West Lakeland Street on the night of April 3, 2025. Suffolk County Police responded to a 911 call from a resident of the home at approximately 11:20 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Hernandez suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics from the Brentwood Legion Ambulance pronounced him dead at the scene. No other individuals inside the home were reported injured
