In a quiet Bay Shore residence, the life of 24-year-old Daniel Nunez Hernandez was tragically cut short in what authorities have described as a brutal murder. On the night of April 3, 2025, Suffolk County Police responded to a 911 call from a home on West Lakeland Street. Upon their arrival at approximately 11:20 p.m., they discovered the body of a young Hispanic male, Daniel Nunez Hernandez, who had sustained gunshot wounds.
