Murdered

On July 9, 2024, at approximately 5:10 p.m., a fatal shooting occurred near the Stewart's Shop at 470 Delaware Avenue in Albany, New York. The victim, 21-year-old Davyjian Grier from Colonie, was seated in his vehicle when a suspect approached and opened fire, discharging at least 13 rounds. Grier was struck multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger in the vehicle was unharmed.
