On July 28, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m., 32-year-old Alec J. Ojeda was fatally shot during an altercation inside a residence on Sherman Street in Rochester, New York. The confrontation escalated when the suspect drew a firearm and discharged multiple rounds, striking Ojeda several times. Ojeda was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
