An argument on a late Sunday evening in Phoenix, Arizona, escalated into a violent encounter that left 37-year-old Cory Harrell fatally wounded. On November 27, 2016, at approximately 8:40 p.m., Harrell and another man, 46-year-old Raymond Woolfolk, were on the light rail platform near 24th and Jefferson streets when they became involved in a physical altercation with an unknown male.
