In the cool of a late Wednesday evening in Mount Vernon, New York, the life of 28-year-old Jalin Williams was tragically cut short. On October 23, 2024, just before 10:30 p.m., a burst of gunfire erupted near the Taiz Market & Deli on West Lincoln Avenue, leaving two men wounded.
