Michael Anthony Santiago, a 26-year-old resident of Mount Vernon, NY, was tragically shot and killed on April 1, 2014. The incident occurred near 22 Sheridan Avenue around 3:40 p.m. Santiago had gone to retrieve belongings from his ex-girlfriend’s apartment when he was confronted by Kamau Kiarie, a 35-year-old Bronx resident.
