In the early evening of January 27, 2026, the life of 36-year-old Timothy Elbert was cut short in a fatal shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of North Street. Responding to a call, Baton Rouge Police officers discovered Elbert lying in the roadway, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
