In the Hyde Park neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, the evening of January 13, 2023, was shattered by a grim discovery. Responding to a call for help shortly after 8 p.m., police officers made their way to an alley in the 4200 block of N. 21st Street. There, inside a running vehicle, they found 27-year-old Tamera Plummer. She had been fatally shot in the face and was pronounced dead at the scene.
