On February 28, 2023, 57-year-old Lazaro Guerra-Hernandez was found with a gunshot wound to his abdomen in an alley in St. Louis's Hamilton Heights neighborhood. Discovered around 10 p.m. in the 1400 block of Hamilton Avenue, he was transported to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Guerra-Hernandez resided in the 5900 block of Page Boulevard in St. Louis.
