On Sunday, March 5, 2023, the life of 22-year-old male Scott Russell Jones came to a sudden end during a stop for food in St. Francois County, Missouri. Jones, a resident of Fenton, was seated in the front of a vehicle waiting in the drive-thru line of a Jack in the Box restaurant located on North Desloge Drive in Desloge. While the group waited for their order around 8:00 a.m., a firearm was being handled by a passenger in the back seat.
