On the night of April 5, 2023, 15-year-old Jamarion Taylor was found fatally shot near O'Fallon Park in north St. Louis. Police responded to a call around 10:25 p.m. and discovered Taylor with a gunshot wound in the 4400 block of Athlone Avenue. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene. Taylor resided on Lee Avenue, approximately a quarter-mile from where he was found.
