On April 25, 2023, 19-year-old Kobe Dotson was fatally shot in the 2800 block of Chippewa Street in St. Louis, Missouri. Responding to a "ShotSpotter" alert around 10:15 p.m., police found Dotson lying in the street near a pickup truck, suffering from gunshot wounds.
