In the late hours of a Tuesday in August 2015, the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood of St. Louis was shattered by gunfire. Dominique Young, a 21-year-old male, was standing with a small group of people near the front porch of a home on Semple Avenue when a four-door sedan drove by. An occupant of the vehicle opened fire on the group, striking five people. The car then sped off into the night, leaving a scene of chaos and tragedy in its wake.
