On August 4, 2015, Dominique Young, a 21-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was shot and killed in the city's Hamilton Heights neighborhood. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire in the 1300 block of Burd Avenue around 5 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, police found Young lying in an alley, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
