On April 27, 2023, 30-year-old Darrius Mullins was fatally shot near the intersection of Seventh and Market Streets in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Mullins, a resident of the Downtown West neighborhood, was well-known in the community for his passion for skateboarding, frequently practicing in Kiener Plaza.
