Death by Force

Lamont R. Pickens, a 31-year-old resident of Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on October 25, 2021. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 12:05 a.m., when police responded to a call reporting "shots fired" in the 2700 block of Hadley Street in the Old North St. Louis neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers found Pickens suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
