In the Greater Ville neighborhood of St. Louis, on the afternoon of May 10, 2023, Andrew Smith, a 56-year-old male, was fatally shot on the porch of his residence. Police were dispatched to the 4000 block of Kennerly Avenue around 1:10 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Smith suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene. A one-year-old boy who was also on the porch at the time of the incident sustained ...
