On May 29, 2023, 33-year-old Antonio Wells was fatally shot inside a residence near 35th and Wabash Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Officers responded to the scene around 7:30 p.m. and found Wells unresponsive; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
