On June 3, 2023, at approximately 1:30 a.m., 46-year-old Jason Boggs was fatally shot in a parking lot near the intersection of East 16th Street and Grand Boulevard in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, just south of the T-Mobile Center.
Witnesses in the vicinity reported hearing gunfire and discovered Boggs injured, prompting them to call 911. Upon arrival, officers found Boggs suffering from gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
